Grey winter sky hid
the sun and stars and glory
But now - it is spring!

For the boy, the rain
fell; flowers bloomed; animals
sang; nature, too, smiled

Season
the change of season
turns hearts restless, expectant

Dandellion
now the flower blooms

Spring
the spring comes and goes
in front of my watching eyes

Haiku
I've known the existence of haiku for long, but it's not until recently that I understand its rules. Now that I am familiar with it, I'm experimenting on my own haiku.
The thing with haiku is that instead of rhymes, it has 5-7-5 rule. The numbers stand for the number of syllables in each line, three lines for each haiku. The theme is (usually, I guess) the Mother Nature, though I'm not sure how strict this last rule is.
I've tried writing five haiku. They're open for interpretation, but each holds a special meaning for me. Now, since showing them all at once would not be interesting, I will publish one each day starting from the next one.
